- The Library Catalog
is available by clicking on the Catalog tab
on the Bernardo Heights Middle School Library Page. You may search
by Keyword, Title, Author, Subject, or Series. You may
also log-on to the catalog by using your complete ID number
and last name. This will allow you to see all of of
your textbooks, view your library checkouts, renew if
needed, and also will allow you to place a hold on a library
book. Also, check out the BHMS Library's recommended online links to
student friendly databases and search directories and new library
book titles. There is
also a link that creates bibliographies (NoodleBib) for your
research projects.
- Student loan period for
library books is 10 school days. Renewals are allowed
has long no one has placed a hold on the title. Students may have up to 5 books
checked out at one
time. If more are wanted/needed check with the library staff
for permission. We will sometimes limit the number of
checkouts by the same author or the same series.
- ID Cards:
Students must always bring their IDs to the library.
It is needed to check out textbooks, library books, and to use the computers.
Until the permanent IDs are distributed, students may use their temporary
IDs, last year’s IDs or schedules.
- Computer and Internet Use:
Computers are available for school related projects.
Students must have completed the PUSD computer use agreement
on file and must present their ID card for computer use.
- A photocopy machine is available in the
library for student use. Photocopies are 15¢ each.
- Pencils, pens, and erasers are available for sale
from the vending machines for 25 - 50¢
