  NOODLEBIB ▬ First Time Student User

1.       Go to URL http://www.noodletools.com/

2.       Click Current Users: Sign In.

3.       Click Create a Personal ID.

4.       Select An account linked to a school/library subscription or trial.

5.       Click on Register.

6.       Enter the following information: 

School/Library Username:  same as for World Book

School/Library Password:   same as for World Book

7.   Click on Sign In.

8.   Click I am a student or library patron.

9.   Expected year of graduation [from middle school]:

Grade 6: 2014

Grade 7: 2013

Grade 8: 2012                            

10.    Type in a Personal ID and click Check Availability.

11.    WRITE DOWN YOUR PERSONAL ID HERE:

        __________________________________

12.    Type in a Password in the two boxes.

13.    WRITE DOWN YOUR PASSWORD HERE:

        __________________________________

14.    Easy Login Retrieval: Initials & the last four digits of your phone number.

15.    WRITE DOWN YOUR FOUR DIGIT PHONE NUMBER HERE_______________

16.    Click Register.

17.    Click Create a New Project.

18.    Select a Projects style:

        Grade 6:  Suggested use is MLA Starter

        Grades 7 & 8:  Suggested use is MLA Advanced

19.    Fill in Description box with the name of your project/list/works cited page.

20.    Click Create a New Project.

21.    Select a Citation Type from the drop down list and click Create Citation.

22.    Fill in the required information, click on Check for Errors, and Generate/Update citation.

23.    Continue to select Citation Types until you have entered each resource.

24.    WHEN DONE:  Sign Out from Noodlebib.

Returning to NOODLEBIB

1.       Go to URL http://www.noodletools.com/

2.       Click Current Users: Sign In 

3.       Enter your Personal ID and Password

4.       Click Sign In.

5.       Choose an existing project or click Create a New Project.

6.       WHEN DONE:  Sign Out from NoodleBib.
