What Can You Do?
Let your voice be heard. Let our elected representatives know that they need to do the job for which they have been elected. Any further reductions to K-12 education funding would be devastating to Poway Unified, where our budget has already been significantly reduced. Let them know protecting education funding is vital for the children of California and for the future of California. The cuts need to stop.
Send letters to your state legislators and Governor Brown by clicking on one of the links next to their name, which will open to a letter in either Word or PDF format. (The Word version contains fields for you to tab through to enter your address, name, and relationship to Poway Unified) If you wish, you may send a letter in your own words. All letters should be signed and then either mailed or faxed. Note: Please be sure your name and address are typed or printed on each letter sent.
