2011-2012 GATE TESTING
January 9-13, 2012

Requests for testing may be submitted online between October 3 - November 30, 2011

Electronic submission of requests for GATE testing for 2011-12 may be submitted between October 3 and November 30, 2011.  Requests will not be accepted prior to October 3.

To request GATE testing for your child click HERE and complete the Parent Questionnaire/Test Consent form.

After completing and submitting the online request, you will see a screen appear that shows confirmation of your request (You will not receive a separate email. Print this screen).

Your child’s school will contact you following the Winter Break, to inform you of the exact date of GATE testing at your child’s school. Students will be excused from class for approximately one hour in order to participate in testing during the regular school day. The testing window is between Jan. 9 - 13, 2012.

Notifications regarding GATE testing results will be mailed to parents in MARCH, 2012.

Important:

• Students who took the January 2011 GATE Test, and have tested no more than two times in the Poway Unified School District ARE eligible for the January 2012 GATE Test administration.
