The Poway Unified School District accepts applications periodically for Food and Nutrition Assistant positions within the Food and Nutrition Department.  Applicants must:

• Be able to read, write, compute, and apply basic mathematical calculations.

• Be willing to learn and follow policies and procedures of the Food and Nutrition Department.

• Provide general clean up.

• Provide dish and pan washing.

• Help prepare and serve meals.

• Be able to relate effectively with staff, students, and the public.

• Possess a current Food Handler's card issued by the County of San Diego.

• Possess high school diploma or equivalent.
