         Who is Boris Karloff?

Allow me to throw you into the river and drown....well, this is what happens in the 1931 movie...

In the novel the monster saves a girl from drowning and then gets shot. This is his breaking point where he finally snaps and wants nothing but vengeance on Victor Frankenstein himself. However, killing just Victor would be too easy. The monster wants him to suffer....

Boris Karloff to this day is still the utmost representation of the monster. The bolts in the side of the neck, the flat head and pretty much all of the Hollywood persona behind him has stayed true to time.
