Week 13 Monday - Continue working on The Road To Equality. Tuesday- Today is set aside for you to complete The Road To Equality. You must have it completed before you come to class on Lab Day. I will collect it from you at the start of the period. Lab Day- Today is lecture day. The First lecture will provide you with background information on the Civil Rights movement. It is the plight of African-Americans. The second lecture is called Civil Rights Changes and it reviews many of the Civil Rights advancements which have taken place. Friday- One of the most famous photographers of the Civil Rights era was Charles Moore. Today, you will be viewing some of his work. There are a total of 20 photos. Study all of the photographs and choose the five that would make you stop what you were doing and want to learn more about the events surrounding that photograph. In at least 2 sentences for each, tell me which photographs you chose and why they stood out to you. Also, for each photo that you chose, include one question that you would want to ask any of the people in the photo.
