STAR TESTING SCHEDULE

Monday-   Today you will be exploring several of the major Civil Rights organizations that contributed to the advancement of equality for all. For each organization listed describe the methods that they used to achieve their goals. Your descriptions should be 3-4 sentences in length for each organization. The groups are the SCLC, NAACP, CORE, Freedom Riders, Nation of Islam, and Black Panthers (A-24) History Social Science Standard 11.10.5 

Tuesday- There were several other groups which fought for equality. Listen to the lecture on Other Civil Rights Movements and rank the movements from most effective to least effective. Then in a paragraph, explain why you chose your least effective movement. In other words, what evidence exists to show that they have failed. Be sure to justify your opinion with a concrete detail.  (A-15)  History Social Science Standard 11.10.5 & 11.10.7

Lab Day- Bring your textbook and any notes/assignments that you have to class with you today. You will be taking an open book Cumulative Exam. You will have as much time as you need to take the exam. It will count as a double-test.
