Friday-

Monday-  Today and Monday are devoted to the achievements of two Civil Rights leaders-  Malcolm X and  Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. You will be gathering information about  the pre-Mecca Malcolm and Dr. Martin Luther King  by reading some of their most famous speeches. After reviewing all of the information, you are to write a two page dialogue (double spaced with a size 12 font) between these two men in which they discuss how their methods will best lead to equality for African-Americans. Think of this as a debate between the two leaders. Be sure to use quotes from each of the speeches in your dialogue.  The speeches should provide you with all of the information you need. You must identify all quotes in your dialogue by placing them in quotation marks, using bold, and parenthetically citing the speech. No more than 1/3 of your paper can be directly quoted. I want to see that you understand the philosophies of these 2 leaders.   (A-50) History Social Science Standard 11.10.4
