PARENT ACCOUNT ACCESS

 

Each parent is given their own user account and password. An informational letter with account information was sent to parents of secondary students (grades 6-12) the week of August 22, 2011. If you did not recieve this letter, contact your child's school office, or contact the help desk at 858-521-2790 before 8:00 pm.

 

This account enables parents to view all their children's information under one login through LearningPoint or MyPlan Portal. Your children's Grid numbers are available to you in MyPlan Portal.

PARENT ACCOUNT HELP


1.  I am a new parent to the district (after August 2011).

Please call or visit your child's school, call the Help Desk at 858-521-2790, or email lpthelp@powayusd.com to request your parent account information.

2.  I cannot remember my parent account password.

Click HERE to reset your parent account password. You will be prompted to answer your challenge questions.  Select the Parent Button to start this process.

3.  I did not receive my parent account information.

Call your child's school office to get your parent account information, call the Help Desk at 858-748-2790, or email lpthelp@powayusd.com to request your parent account information.
 
4.  I do not know my student's GRID Code.

Students can ask any of their classroom teachers for this information OR a parent can access the information from the MyPlan Portal.

 

GRADE REPORT ACCESS:

To access your child's grades, you must have the GRID code. Parents will use the same GRID code and in the same manner as last year.  If you do not know your child's GRID code, please see option #4 below.  If you need more information on how to use the GRID code, click HERE.

Q&A: User Names and Passwords

Students when you reset your NOVELL password at school and answer your 5 challenge questions, you are also changing your Learningpoint and MyPlan password!

• STUDENTS:   the username & password you use for logging in at school is the same for LearningPoint.  If you change your password at school, you have changed your LearningPoint account. To reset your password, go to https://password.powayusd.com
  

  Username:	Full student ID number
  Password:	Default password is  6-digit birthdate (mmddyy)  ... when you login at school you might be prompted to change this and answer 5 challenge questions.
