Finalizing Work and Presenting Projects

TIPS From Jannita

  • If a video you've embedded turns "white screen" and doesn't play, the title of the movie is too long. Rename the movie to a shorter name and it will be fine.

December 2011
  • Share strategies or samples of how to use United Streaming to scaffold, teach, reteach, introduce vocabulary, or review critical concepts for your class
  • You may load your software on the computer in the lab (and uninstall it when you're done) if you need to use Timeliner or Inspiration/Kidspiration.  Pinnacle is already on the lab machines.
  • Eunice Cupples, Linda Foote, and Anne Smith will be available to provide mini-lessons and offer support as you learn your new programs. We also have lesson sheets available in the Professional Support portion of United Streaming. PowerPoint reviews will be available as well!
  • Use the software you received to create a lesson or provide re-teaching, reviewing, or scaffolding for students.
  • Review the documentation requirements for this course (see the top of this page for a link to the document if you need a copy)

  • We've also had a special request to do additional work in Google Earth so we will start with work in Google Earth and strategize how this tool can improve learning in our classrooms.
