Hello Dolly is an inquiry oriented activity that places students in the position to ask great questions, develop new relationships, and take a stand on a current hot issue. a glance: A quick look at the project process. Stand and Deliver Grading Rubric: A rubric that will assist students in developing a high quality email message. "Things take longer than they do." That seems to be the motto when doing student-centered activities. Below you will find a possible two week timeline. If you decide dedicate your entire class time to the project, you should be able to finish Hello Dolly in two weeks or less. Many teachers have decided to run the project concurrently with their already established classroom curriculum. Relying on students to complete the project "on their own" time.
