Are you looking for a versatile software program you
can use across your curriculum to increase student motivation and learning? Consider
using Timeliner
from Tom Snyder Productions. Timeliner puts any set of events in chronological order.
For
Language Arts: Use Timeliner to help students summarize and sequence the
events of a chapter or book. Instead of using years as your timeline's base, you'll
choose "chapters" or "events" when setting up the format in Timeliner.
For
Author Studies: Have students place the events of an author's life in the Timeliner
program. Be sure to include the publication dates for each book the author has
written. Then have different students each choose one of the books to read, review,
and illustrate. The illustrations and reviews can be typed, scanned, imported and
included on the final timeline.
To

top of the page. As you and your students discover new and creative uses for this
program, feel free to Email your ideas to this site and we will spotlight them in a future
edition of this page.
If Timeliner is
purchased in lots of 30 licenses or more, it is $30.00 per license. (Individual licenses
would be $80.00 a piece!) Email Stacey Campo if your site is interested in taking
advantage of this great offer.
