Y is for Yaks!
Yaks come from the Himalayan
mountains in the country of Tibet
Yaks are usually black, brown and white or a
combination of those colors.
Tibetan people use Yaks for meat, milk, and for their
fur.  The yak has long downy fur that can be used to make
strong ropes or a special felt that helps build Tibetan houses
called Yurks!
Yaks are also good pack animals.  People travel on their backs because Yaks are sure footed in the mountains   AND ...
they are quiet!!
