Good Narratives:
- Contain a beginning,
middle, and end.
- Focus on one main
event.
- Include many
concrete, sensory details.
- Are usually written
in first person.
- Contain some kind of
conflict.
- Are well organized.
- Tell the reader why
the event was memorable.
Steps to Good Narratives:
- Make sure you read
the prompt carefully.
- Begin with an
interesting lead.
- Give the context of
the event right away, including, who, what , when ,
where.
- Include appropriate
sensory details.
- Stick to the story
- Let the reader know
why the event was memorable
