SUMMER GRADUATION

PUSD SUMMER SCHOOL -
HIGH SCHOOL ONLY
This general education summer school will be an abbreviated form of summer school, invitation-only program, offered for remediation purposes only to the following students:
- Students who are significantly behind in graduation credits with priority given to 11th and 12th graders
- Students who have earned an “F” in a core academic subject
- On a space-available basis, students who have earned a “D” in a core academic subject
- Non- graduating high school seniors deficient 5-10 credits
If you meet any of the above criteria, please check with your high school counselor for class offerings and any further information.
Summer School will be held at POWAY HIGH SCHOOL, 8:00 am to 12:15 pm as follows:
1st Semester:
Tuesday, June 12 – Tuesday, July 3, 2012
*No school, Wednesday, July 4th*
2nd Semester: Thursday, July 5 – Thursday, July 26, 2012
If you wish to take a summer school course outside of PUSD, make sure it is approved by your Registrar’s office BEFORE taking the class. Talk to your Counselor or the Registrar if you have questions.
