Dear Creekside Families,
As I pause to think about what word best describes Creekside, community comes foremost to my mind. It is this strong bond that sets us apart from other schools and enables us to continue our tradition of excellence. Parents come together to support our classrooms through volunteer time, enriching our children’s academic lives at home, as well as faithful donations. Teachers also have a strong commitment to collaborate with each other and the other stake holders at our school to ensure our children experience a well balanced curriculum that includes academics, arts, and physical education. The PTA and CEF come together with the commitment of kids being the center of all decisions. Whether it is the Carnival, Fun Run, Haunted House, dances, Science Field Day, or our Annual Dinner & Auction, we enjoy each other’s company while supporting our school. May we continue to receive our inspiration from each other and model the interdependency our children will need as they enter our global society and become parents themselves.
What a fabulous summer I had being Grammy to my two grandbabies, Chance and Rylie! There is nothing better than being able to teach Chance how to say “dude” and see Rylie’s first smile. Paul and I are truly blessed and on cloud nine!
