Kathy Bennett

This will be my fifth year teaching at Creekside. I have lived in Poway all my life except the four years I attended UC Irvine where I was an Economics major with a minor in German Literature. In my free time I enjoy cooking, baking (which my husband Jim loves), and playing tourist in San Diego with my nieces and nephew.

Christina Gonzalez

This Boston girl has moved around a lot, so I have taught in many different places such as Pasadena, Monterey, Ft. Lauderdale, and Miami.  My husband and I, along with our two children, are happy to call San Diego home!  I have a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education and a Master’s degree in Reading.  In my spare time I chase after my children, read, and run (to Starbucks). 

Alison Spiking

I've been a Poway girl since 1980. I grew up in the Poway District, and here I am in the midst of my 14th year teaching at the elementary level in the town I grew up in. When I'm not in the classroom I'm always on the go with my active 9 year old son and 7 year old daughter. I love anything sporty, especially running and soccer, and my favorite place to go is the beach.

Karmyn Beireis

I have been teaching for many years, and I feel lucky to be a Creekside teacher.  When I am not at school, I enjoy spending time with my husband Brian and two children, Bradi 6, and Beckett 4.  I also like running, playing soccer, and being outdoors.
