Consider volunteering during the upcoming school year.  Look at the PTA page for volunteer opportunities, or contact your teacher in the Fall for information on volunteering in the classroom.  TB Testing: Each volunteer must have a current TB test on file with the school office. PUSD offers TB clinics to our volunteers. Pick up a proof form from the school office and take this proof with you to the clinic.  Click HERE for the schedule.

Minimizing Classroom Disruptions
Imagine being in the middle of teaching a lesson, only to have the phone ring multiple times to pass messages to students.  It can be disruptive to students and the teacher.  There are times when emergencies occur, and these calls need to be made.  Most days, though, if parents communicate with their child before school and provide a note to the teacher about appointments and who is picking the child up from school, there is no need for an interrupting phone call to the classroom.  If lunches need to be delivered, please take them to the office where students can collect them at their breaks.  By planning ahead with good communication, we can limit classroom disruptions.  Thank you for your help with this.

Reminder: Parents need to call the Attendance Line (858) 486-6273 when your children will be absent.
