Who we are
The Meadowbrook Education Foundation ("MEF") is a tax exempt, non-profit foundation dedicated to increasing the technology resources available in the school . MEF's mission is raising funds to provide resources to Meadowbrook that can improve the quality of the educational environment. Since it's inception, MEF has focused primarily on technology investments consistent with the Meadowbrook technology strategy, as established by the principal and school staff. MEF is comprised of parents, educators, and other members of the community that want to help ensure that our students have the technology and other resources that they need to succeed.
A Message From Meadowbrook Principal, Dr. Miguel Carrillo
Hello,
I'm so pleased you're visiting the MEF site. This means that you're taking an interest in MEF and the important work that is being done to help with our children's educations. During the last several years MEF responded to a critical need for investments in technology for our school. Their help has been critical in substantially raising the level of resources available.
MEF's impact is enabled by several essential "stakeholders": Our students and their supportive parents, Meadowbrook staff, MEF volunteers, and, maybe most importantly, our corporate sponsors. Of particular note is Pardee Construction, whose community focus and generosity have been an important "engine" in the work that MEF has done.
I urge you to get involved in the work of advancing our children's futures. There is a saying that "many hands make light work", and our volunteer organizations always need members that will get involved and have an impact. Please feel free to contact me or any MEF member if you can give a little bit of you time. Also, watch for MEF events and fund raisers during the year and join in the fun! You'll enjoy being involved and helping your child at Meadowbrook.
We appreciate the involvement of parents and community members here at Meadowbrook!
Sincerely,
Miguel Carrillo, Ed.D
Principal

A Message From Meadowbrook Education Foundation President, Stephen Fazen
On behalf of the Meadowbrook Education Foundation (MEF), I would like to extend a warm welcome back to school. The Foundation has been working closely with Dr. Carrillo to assess how the Foundation can best assist the school, and we are looking forward to a great school year.
The MEF Board has been discussing how best to utilize the funds raised by MEF, and we annually provide more than $20,000 to assist Meadowbrook in many areas (see below).
We are also encouraging participation from parents, staff, businesses and the community. The Foundation would like to hear from anyone that would be interested in helping us out, so please either contact me directly or Dr. Carrillo in the office. The Foundation will be meeting regularly throughout the school year to make sure that we are utilizing all available resources in our community to benefit Meadowbrook, and we hope to see many of you at upcoming meetings.
Thank you in advance for your support.
Stephen Fazen
MEF President
