Web Site: The MCHS website is updated frequently and is your best resource for up to date information about events, news and student achievements. Bookmark our page now and check back often.

E-Mail: (Connect Ed): If you want important updates from the Principal and Counseling, be sure your e-mail address is current and correct in our school information system. We use the Connect Ed service throughout the year to provide important information about school events, late start days and emergency information.

Bulletin: The Bulletin is available daily in 3rd period. Our very own Sundevil Broadcast is on Monday's and Thursday's at the beginning of 3rd period and is very informative to the students. The Bulletin is also posted on the MCHS website daily.

Each survey taken earns 1 point for their class. If you're wondering what Naviance is click here. If you already have an account log in and click on the "About Me" tab then click on the "Class Competition Fall 2014 Survey" on the left of the screen. Note: If you are newly enrolled in PUSD after August 14th your account will not be accessible until September.

AP Summer Assignments

Students taking AP Courses next school year, check HERE for your summer assignment! Book checkout for your summer assignments will begin in the library AFTER SCHOOL on 5/27 and continue until 6/4.

Online Lunch Payments has moved to We have a new name and a new look, but we're as committed as ever to providing you wit an easy, convenient way to make school payments. Students who will be paying with cash or check will now drop off money at the Cafeteria. We no longer accept money at the front desk.

The Post Office does not forward school mail. Even if you fill out a "Forwarding Notice" the Post Office WILL NOT forward school mail. When you know you will be moving, or if you have already moved, please contact Mrs. Chavez in the Attendance office at 858-484-1180 x 3114.

Friday Bell Schedule

Mt. Carmel Bell Schedule is located on the right side of the MCHS website under Quick Links. There you will find the regular bell schedule and upcoming special bell schedules. Most FRIDAYS are late start days with 1st period beginning at 8:40 am. The following dates are NOT late start Fridays and will run on the Monday/Tuesday regular schedule: Aug 22, Aug 29, Nov 7, Nov 14, Dec 19, Feb 27, Mar 6, Apr 24, May 29 and June 5.

Work Permits

When do Work Permits expire? Summer 2014 work permits expire 5 days after the beginning of the next school year (8/26/2014). Work permits issued during the school year, providing you remain with the same employer; expire 5 days after the following school year begins (8/26/2014). Please see Mrs. Griffin at the Front Desk.
