Lost and Found

Our Lost and Found cart is full of sweatshirts, jackets and lunch boxes. Please stop by to look at the items before December 16. We will be donating everything to charity during the winter break.

The Capital Campaign Countdown continues!

Our Foundation’s Goal is to have 100% Parent participation. 

We currently have over 380 families at Sundance and would like to express a big “thank you” to those 43 families that have got our Capital Campaign off to a great start for the Twin Trails Educational Foundation. We have 337 more families to go to reach our goal, can you please help us achieve our goal to make your children’s learning experience the best that it can be? Your children deserve our best effort going forward!

Please remember every dollar is 100% tax deductible and goes directly to helping students at Sundance. And don’t forget to let us know if your company matches donations. You could double your impact on education at Sundance!

Round Table Pizza FUN-raiser

Mark your calendars for December, 14 from 5:30 to 7:00 for dinner at Round Table Pizza on Black Mountain Road!  20% of your total purchase will be donated to Sundance Elementary.

Entertainment Books

Just in time for stocking stuffers, Entertainment Books are here - take a look at the sample in the office.  Books are available for purchase through December 15th and cost $40 (the $20 books are no longer available).  Profits earned will benefit 5th grade end-of -year activities.  Please see Mrs. Kinard in Room 19 or email questions to KKinard@powayusd.com.  Books may be purchased directly from Mrs. Kinard, or from 5th grade students selling in front of the school over the next two weeks (days to be determined).  

Students in the Street

A staff member from Mesa Verde Middle School called the other day to report that some of our children are running across Twin Trails Drive before school. If your child crosses Twin Trails on the way to school, please talk to them about their safety. They need to use the crosswalks and check for oncoming traffic.

Foundation Event- Save the Date: April 28
The Twin Trails Education Foundation Auction Committee is proud to announce the theme for the 8th Annual Silent Auction, Heroes Among Us . That's you folks! All the hard work that goes into parenting and volunteering in our community here at Sundance doesn't go unnoticed. Thank You! The committee is diligently working to secure items for our silent auction, please keep an eye out for Procurement Forms that you can use to secure donations through work, family, friends, and local businesses that you frequent regularly.
We also desperately need the help of a Photographer. It would be on campus shots, taking place during school hours. Please let me know if you can help. The hours involved would range between 2-4 hours based on the number of volunteers. Contact me at shoffman909@msn.com
