"I just received my Financial Aid awards today and I got over 14,000 dollars in scholarships and grants  for my third year at UCSD. Thank you so much for pushing Scholarships and Financial Aid during AVID, I can't tell you how much all that information has helped me get through college. I still update my 4 year plan every quarter and I'm still signed up with Fastweb.com and am always looking out for more scholarships.
P.S. I've finally figure out the college system= strait A's at UCSD two quarters in row! Now it's time to apply for graduate school! : )"

"I just want to thank you for ENGRAVING the process of properly citing sources into my BRAIN.

This is the reason why: I am currently taking a Literature & Writing class at school. Let me just point out that all my essays have been A's & B's.  But this last essay I wrote was an Etymology essay. More than half of the class FAILED this essay due to not citing their sources properly (aka plagiarizing). I received an 85% on paper - one of the highest grades!

So thank you so much for teaching me how to cite sources!"
