AVID's goal is to prepare students in the academic middle for four-year college eligibility.  It has a proven track record in bringing out the best in students, and in closing the achievement gap.  Not only are students enrolled in some of our school's toughest classes, such as honors and Advanced Placement, but also in the AVID elective. In addition to academically preparing students for college, AVID addresses the socio-economic barriers that students encounter by bringing students to colleges across the state and building a sense of pride and family within the Westview’s school culture.  We are eager to build strong relationships with our business community to ensure all students have access to these activities and become productive members of our democracy.

How to become a Westview AVID Community Sponsor: Choose the Sponsorship Level appropriate for your business, complete the Community Sponsor form  and submit the form and check to Dorothy Carlson either via email, your student or Westview's reception desk.

Gold Level - $250 Premium website exposure with Name listed as a Sponsor in large lettering and top-center positioning on the Westview AVID webpage, Inclusion of Company Logo on Westview AVID webpage, Thank You photo with Name and Recognition in regular email updates.

Black Level - $100 Westview AVID Website recognition with Name listed as a Sponsor in medium lettering and center positioning and Recognition in regular email updates.
