Aug 24 Wed - School Starts!

Sep 7 Wed - Add/Drop Deadline for changing any courses.  Please contact your counselor!

Sep 13 Wed - Back to School Night (school wide, NOT AVID specific); please go to your content class linked with AVID.  You'll meet the AVID teachers and hear AVID specific information on AVID Parent Night.

Sep 23 Fri - Progress Reports

Sep 27 Tue - AVID Parent Night 6pm-7pm in the Staff Lounge

Oct 1 Sat - CSU Application filing period opens (Seniors only)

Oct 12 Wed - PSAT on campus

Oct 26 Wed - Quarter 1 ENDS

Oct 31 Mon - Deadline for Letters of Recommendation requests (Seniors only)

Nov 1 Tue - UC Application filing period opens (Seniors only)

Nov 3 Thu - AVID 1-2 and AVID 3-4 College Field Trips!  (These are separate trips that occur on the same day)

Nov 9 Wed - Add/Drop Deadline for changing any courses.  Please contact your counselor!

Nov 9-10 Wed-Thu - AVID 5-6 College Field Trip! (please note that there is no school on Nov 11 Fri)

Nov 30 Wed - UC and CSU Application Filing Period CLOSES (if you miss this deadline, you cannot apply - Seniors only)

Dec 5 Mon - Progress Reports

Jan 20 Fri - Quarter 2 ENDS

Feb 29 Wed - Progress Reports

Mar 1 Thu - AVID Application Filing period OPENS (current Westview AVID student do NOT need to reapply); CRF Window OPENS

Mar 26 Mon - CRF Window CLOSES (if you have not requested your classes by this deadline you will be scheduled by a counselor based on what classes still have room).

Mar 30 Fri - Quarter 3 ENDS

May 7-17 Mon-Thu - AP Testing (please see the Westview Calendar for the specific day(s) of your AP test(s))

May 22 Tue - AVID Banquet 6pm-7:30pm in the Westview Theatre

June 7 Thu - Last Day of School!
