Instruction
continues to be based on State Standards. |

Multiple,
standards based, common assessments continue to be designed and
implemented throughout each quarter by content teams. |

Common
assessments are based on Standards. Their influence on student’s
grades is determined by each academic area. Standards completion
will no longer be the single factor used to determine the
passing of a class. |

Policies
relating to the re-teaching and re-testing of material on common
assessments during a quarter are determined by each academic
area. |

5. |
The school
wide grading scale will include a letter grade of “D”. |

6. |
Five week
extension beyond the end of term for students to clear missing
items is no longer in effect. |

7. |
“I”
(incompletes) are at the discretion of each teacher. Criteria
may include:
a. Absences (family tragedy, etc.)
b. Work completion
c. Mathematical chance to pass |

8. |
The above
changes (1-7) went into effect in Fall 2005. Any incompletes
given in June may still be cleared in the fall. |
