PARKING

At Westview, it is considered a privilege to drive and park on school grounds. Suspension of driving privileges, towing of vehicles and/or disciplinary action may result if a violation occurs.

Students are required to have a valid parking permit clearly posted on the driver’s side of the front windshield. Parking without a valid permit will result in a parking ticket ($40.00). Parking regulations are strictly enforced.

Passes can be obtained in the Wolverine Center. Only a limited number of permits are issued to students each school year. Student parking is assigned prior to the start of Fall Quarter classes. Please note the deadlines for application. Permits will not be issued if you have any outstanding fines or athletic equipment. Disregard of safe driving procedures on school grounds will result in loss of parking privileges. Truancies will result in the loss of parking privileges. Behavioral referrals, 2 per school year, will result in loss of parking privileges. Lost, stolen, or damaged parking permits will be replaced for a nominal fee. All parking on campus is reserved.

Vehicles without permits or parked in the wrong lot will be cited. No permit $35; Fire lane/red zone $60; Handicap $340. Got a ticket? Feel it was in error? Once written a ticket cannot be voided, it must be appealed. You have 30 calendar days from the date of the ticket to appeal the ticket in writing. The instructions for how to appeal the ticket appear on the back of the ticket.
