About Mrs. DiPaolo

Welcome to sixth grade at Mesa Verde Middle School.  It is going to be a very exciting and busy year for all for us.  This is my eighth year at Mesa Verde.  I am excited to be working with sixth graders, and look forward to meeting our students and their families.  There is so much fun and learning in the sixth grade.  I am looking forward to working with your child and together accomplishing all of our goals for the year.   This year I will be facilitating Reading Workshop/Literature, History, Language Arts, and Literacy in Room 712.  I can’t wait to begin the school year!

I was born and raised in San Diego, and attended San Diego State University where I completed both undergraduate and teaching credential programs.  I then earned a masters degree in curriculum from National University.  Prior to coming to Mesa Verde, I began my teaching career 22 years ago at Garden Road Elementary and continued for many years at Pomerado Elementary.

My husband, Tom, and I have been married for sixteen years!  Tom works in Scripps Ranch as an attorney.  We have a fabulous son, Michael, who is thirteen and a   loving and devoted 7 1/2 year old Golden Retriever named Ally Grace– she's lots of fun.  Our family enjoys water polo games/tournaments, visiting our family around the United States, hiking, Idyllwild, biking, and entertaining friends and family.

In my spare time I love to read, taking yoga classes, and exercising.
