Directions for the “Final Copy of the Mission Report”

Your child has worked hard to complete the rough draft of their mission report, now they are at the stage where they could use a little of your help. They will be bringing home the hand written rough draft that they have been working on in class in order to complete a final finished copy that will be due on next Thursday, January 27^th. The final copy must be written in ink (erasable ink is recommended) or typed. If typed I would like the report to meet these criteria:

Double spaced, 14 pt. font, something easy to read (Times, Arial, etc…).

The Introduction, Body, and Conclusion of the report should be written continuously, I do not want to have each paragraph on a separate page.

Tab or indent at the beginning of each paragraph.

There should not be separate headings on each paragraph or section I will know that a new paragraph has been started by the indenting.

If your printer breaks, you may save the writing to a disk, memory stick, cd, or email it to the class. If it is here by Thursday it will be counted as on time.

Do not forget to write the Mission Project Write-up. This should be a section separate from the report, but included with the report.

Final Report should be put together in this order: Title Page, Table of Contents, Report, Mission Project Write-up, and Bibliography.
