Is It Broken or not?

By Aditi

 Bounce!

       Bounce!

   Bounce!

           I was two years

 old and I was jumping

 on the sofa in the

 decorator center

 with my friend, Akash.

 Just then, I tripped over

the side of the sofa and

 fell down on my hand!

 Then Akash fell on me!

      I started to cry! My

 Mom came quickly and

 she took me to the

 emergency room at the

 hospital.

       The doctor said my

 arm was  broken after

 he checked the X-ray.

        And so, they asked

 me "Which color would

 you like your cast to

 be?"

"Purple"I said.

       I had to wear my

 cast for four weeks and

 my Mom had to feed

me, and help me take a

 bath by putting a plastic

 bag around my arm.

       I was worried that

 my arm would look

 patchy with pink and

 brown skin.

        When they took my

 cast off, I was so

 relieved that my skin

 wasn't even patchy!

        I guess breaking my

 arm wasn't so bad after

 all because I didn't have

 to do many things!
