THOUGHTS
FOR STUDENTS
Sayings and words of wisdom that can make a difference.

The Value of Time
To realize the value of ONE YEAR,
ask a student who has failed his classes.
To realize the value of ONE MONTH,
ask a mother who have given birth to a premature baby.
To realize the value of ONE WEEK,
ask the editor of a weekly newspaper.
To realize the value of ONE DAY,
ask a person who labors in the fields.
To realize the value of ONE HOUR,
ask the lovers who are waiting to meet for the first time.
To realize the value of ONE MINUTE,
ask a person who missed a train or a bus.
To realize the value of ONE SECOND,
ask a person who just avoided an accident.
To realize the value of ONE MILLISECOND,
ask the person who won the silver medal in the Olympics.
Treasure every moment that you have!
Yesterday is history. Tomorrow is a mystery. Today is a gift.
That's why it's called the PRESENT!!

"F"
"F" stands for the fact that in every failure is
the seed of success. In the manifestation of the material from the non-material, of
the visible from the invisible, a fundamental mechanics is involved. This
is the principle of feedback.
Our failures are stepping - stones in the mechanics of creation, bringing us ever
closer to our goals. In reality, there is no such thing as failure.
What we call failure is just the mechanism through which we can learn to do
things right.

UNLESS YOU QUIT."

WINNERS VS LOSERS
The winner is always a part of the answer.
The loser is always a part of the problem.
The winner always has a program.
The loser always has an excuse.
The winner says let me do it for you.
The loser says that's not my job.
The winner sees an answer in every problem.
The loser sees a problem in every answer.
The winner sees a green near a sand trap.
The loser sees two or three sand traps near every green.
The winner says it may be difficult, but it's possible.
The loser says it may be possible, but it's too difficult.
Being a winner is a conscience choice that needs to be made moment by
moment, day by day.

THE GUY IN THE GLASS
When you get what you want in your struggle for self
And the world makes you king for a day,
Go to the mirror and take a look at yourself
And see what that guy has to say.
It isn't your mother, father or wife
whose judgment on you must pass.
The fellow whose verdict counts most in your life
Is the guy staring back from the glass.
He's the fellow to please, never mind all the rest
'Cos he's with you clear to the end.
And you have passed you most difficult test,
If the guy in the glass is your friend.
You may be like Jack Horner and chisel a plum
And think you are a wonderful guy.
But the guy in the glass says you are a bum
If you can't look him straight in the eye.
You may fool the whole world down the pathway of years
And get pats on your back as you pass.
But your final reward will be heartache and tears
If you've cheated that guy in the glass.
