Civil War Novels – plan 2009

1. Continue to read a book of choice for reading logs – you should always have a book at hand.  Every student will read a Civil War novel and complete a project on it. 
    

2. Every student must read a Civil War novel, but they may choose from 3 options.

                  Option A – a group of students will read a teacher assigned book, follow the teacher’s lead to complete reading and assignments, and complete a group cereal box project.

                  Option B – others student may choose from available titles and work with a group of students reading the same novel to complete reading and assignments, and ultimately a group cereal
                                    box/board game project.

                  Option C – other students may choose to go out and find their own civil war novel, read it on their own, complete a book review (form online), and donate the book to the classroom.

You will be assigned an option.  All options are due Friday, May 8^th!
