Using MAPs to raise your
CST READING scores this spring
Step 1: Review your individual score packet. Write down your score for READING in the chart below.
Step 2: Find the specific area (e.g. Literal Comprehension, Literary Response and Analysis, etc.) where you earned your lowest score. Write it down on the chart. Also record the area you were strongest in on the chart.
Step 3: Now, knowing your scores, use the MAPs Vocabulary (pdf) to copy the list of RIT range terms on notebook paper that you need to focus on. Please use Cornell Note format.
