Step One: Find an editorial article that you agree with and it not already on a topic listed below...

Iran
economy
obesity
court system
President Bush
death penalty

Remember to use a reputable news sources.  Here are some links to try...

Step Two: Read your article and answer the following three questions on the back...
1.  What is the topic of the article?
2.  What is the opinion or position of the author?
3.  What is one symbol you could use to portray this opinion in a cartoon version?


BONUS: Now see if you can find an editorial cartoon that shares the same opinion on this topic!  (Remember how we read the whales and navy sonar article and looked at a cartoon on the same issue?)  Show what you find to your teacher!!
