  • Get your Forces Test Study Guide stamped and corrected the day you get back.
  • See me at Bobcat to get a copy of the Forces Demonstrations and the Fluid Pressure Demonstrations. You will get the notes from another student. This will not be covered on the test and there will be no make-up for the demos - Sorry!

Assignment:

  • Put together packet and use study guide to study for test. You will turn in Study Guide next class - don't lose it!
  • Remember to qualify for the Egg Drop!
  • Make up the Forces Test and turn in the Forces Packet and Forces Study Guide the day you get back to school. Do not delay as we are nearing the end of the year and this could greatly affect your grade!

Assignment:

  • Bring in Eggcraft to qualify for the Egg Drop. If you have already qualified continue to work on perfecting your eggcraft - reduce mass and increase air resistance!
  • Went over procedure for Egg Drop today
  • We completed a "Fluid Pressure Activity'. This was just for fun and is not being graded. There is no make-up for this.
  • Work folders taken home today along with science grade without the Egg Drop grade. This will tell you if you need to redo if your egg breaks.

  • We spent the rest of the period working on building and testing our wind-powered cars. Check with y our group to see what was done so far.

  • We spent most of the period finishing building and testing the Windy 500 cars. If you were absent today you will unfortunately forfeit any extra credit your group earns if they come in 1st - 3rd place on The Windy 500 Race day. Check with your group to see the final design.

  • Take practice test for the CST Science Test (click on link) on Tuesday. Print out test or take it on the computer by writing your answers on a piece of paper (page 9 to 19). After you are done  print out the answer key with a parent signature and indicate which questions you got wrong and which letter you chose.

 

  • Periods 2,3 and 6 did an Inertia Activity that is part of our next homework packet. We will make this up during Bobcat over the next few weeks for Periods 4 and 5. If you have Math Bobcat or ASB see me for one day before May 12.
