If you are looking for a good book to read, the Poway Library is the place to go!!
There are books for kids of all ages and magazines too! There are books about
origami, magic tricks, and even books for the blind!

We loved the computers
that even let you go on the internet. You have to have something stamped on your
card that says your parents give permission if you are under 12.

The new library also has a great patio. It has this beautiful fountain that has a
waterfall. You can sit by it and read in the great Poway sunshine.
The library offers a lot of special programs for the people who live in Poway. They
are a lot of fun. On Wednesday mornings they have story times for toddlers and
preschoolers from 10:00-11:00 a.m. They have craft and other special programs at
3:00 p.m. You can sign up by calling 513-2909. Spanish storytimes are excellent on
Tuesdays at 3:30 p.m. Grandparents and books are on Mondays 3:00-4:00 p.m.,
Tuesdays from 10:00-12:00, Thursdays from 10:30-11:30, Fridays from 10:00-12:00, and
Saturdays from 11:00-1:00.
Mrs. Hildreth is the children's
librarian. She likes to help kids find books, and use the on-line catalog to look up
books by author, title or subject.
The Library is located
at 13137 Poway Rd.
Poway, CA 92064.
