Hi Ms Harvey and Class, It was so cool to see your website and hear that you named Buckeye and SW's newest chicks. How great! I teach third and fourth GT students in Nordonia Hills City Schools and we just started this year studying Raptors in the City and monitoring Buckeye and SW. and their chicks. We hope next year maybe we can pen pal as we study the falcons again next spring. Again, great job with all you have done!

I just wanted to let all of you know that you are doing a great job again this year!  I am one of the volunteer Peregrine Falcon monitors here in Buffalo, NY and all of you are giving us inspiration to reach out to school children here, helping them become more involved in watching "our" falcons.  Keep up the great work!  You have a wonderful teacher!  She has been doing such fantastic job the past few years! and I know that this will be a year to remember for all of you! km Buffalo, NY http://www.birdlink.info/birdcam

Love the site - I've been watching these falcons as well as others around the world via the Internet for some time and think they are fantastic. There are falcons in the UK too. See the pair nesting in Exeter on the following link:- http://www.bbc.co.uk/devon/webcams/peregrine_ecowatch_webcam.shtml
Keep up the good work!!

Great to see people looking after wildlife, especially birds like the Falcon. We have a large nest on the top of a radio tower, here in Cairns. I'm not sure if it's an Eagle or Falcon nest - the good news is that it survived the recent Cyclone Larry, that we caught the edge of. Cheers Rob

I am very excited about doing the falcon watch this year. My sister did the falcon watch 2 years ago, and she loved it. I think falcons are beautiful birds and are wonderful to learn about.

Mrs. Harvey and Students, It is so interesting to follow the journey of the falcons. I like the observation logs and data collecting that you are doing as individuals and as a class. This is such a fabulous learning expedition. I know that you must be anxiously waiting for the first egg to hatch! It won't be long! Great work everyone, and I'll be watching and waiting with you. Thank you for sharing this journey with the world. Amazing... I'm so proud of all of you,
Ms. Marshack

My class is a part of a fourth grade mini-society at Coyote Canyon Elementary in Rancho Cucamonga.  The students chose the name Falcon Village for our classroom.  We decided to study falcons on the internet because of our name.  We are keeping a journal of the falcon activity in the nest at Terminal Tower in Ohio. So far we have been very excited as SW has layed each egg. Seventeen students have predicted she will lay four eggs in all and 10 have predicted she will lay five. We have a falcon flag in our room that the students designed. They also say a falcon pledge each morning that they wrote in Fall. Does anyone know what SW's name stands for?
