, 9:00 - 10:15 (ish)

Students report to HC teachers at 8:25; line up at 8:35; procession begins by 8:45. The standards of dress for the promotion ceremony must follow school codes.  In addition, no strapless dresses or tuxedos are allowed.   Since this an informal occasion and held outside, students are asked to dress appropriately (business casual).  On that day, PE shirts will be provided for students who are out of dress code. Because students will be walking on the grass, high heels could be dangerous.   Please no limos.  We want this to be a happy occasion for our eighth grade students and their families.

California Candids will photograph each participant during the ceremonial process.  All families will receive a proof (by mail) within a week after the promotion ceremony. The proof will be accompanied with an order form. With every order, MV will receive $1.00 For those parents wishing to take additional pictures and out of respect for the audience, two “photo areas” will be set up for parents to take pictures following the ceremony.
