Parent Teacher Conference web page

Add a new page

Save it as conferences

Go to that page and add a table for each date you plan to conference

Fill in times and student names

Color code as you please

I tell the students to have their parents look at the website and e-mail me or send me a note.

Problem: No computer access. I make it the student’s responsibility to go to the library during lunch and find times. This worked well last year, and saved me a lot of time. Of course there are always exceptions…but works well for the majority.

Adding an assignment page to your website

Open Front Page

Open the assignment which was typed in a Word document

Make a new page in Front Page

Save it with an appropriate title

Go to your WORD document

Click Edit

Select all

Right click ‘copy’

Go back to the new web page

Right click

Paste Note: you will have to fiddle with the text size, etc. but it’s the easiest way

SAVE

Go to your default page and make a link to the new page (see adding links)
