Verde Middle School Newsletter
Time is passing very quickly. Third quarter ends this Friday.
Please check your grades on line and take care of any missing assign-
ments or any corrections. We would appreciate all late work handed
in by Wednesday, March 23th.
Language Arts: We
had our last poetry lesson with Ms. Veronica
and will be typing and mounting the final
projects
over
the next couple of weeks. In the
literature
text
we are reading short stories with “The Circuit”
being
the story we will start this week.
Social Studies: We are continuing our
study of Ancient Egypt.
Science: We completed chapter 5, Energy Resources. We
had a great time launching the hot air
balloons.
Next week we will begin
chapter 9 on weather.
Math: Chapter 8 is a short chapter on probability
which we will finish this
week with a quiz
Friday.
Pre.
Algebra: We will finish chapter 8 this week with
the chapter test
the first of next week.
