Getting Started Introduction Before you create a board game, you must have an idea. Your idea can come from an existing board game, be a compilation of several board games or a whole new idea. If you plan to use an existing board game, the board and concept must be modified by 33% to not violate copyright law. Your board game must be original. For example, you can make your own version of Monopoly, Risk, or Candyland. Remember to keep your game simple and not to go crazy with this assignment. You only have one week to complete the project. Manage your time effectively by coming up with the idea for your board game before you begin MS Publisher. Remember that we use MS Publisher '98' ( Room J-6) and '2000' (Room J-4) in the Business Department. There is a slight difference between the two (i.e. the location of tools).
