The Rules - Text Frames

Create and Modify a Text Frame

The text frame allows the user to include text into the publication.  To begin inserting the rules for our game, we will need to understand how text frames work.

Preparation

1.

With the mouse, select all the entries in the last two panels of the brochure.

Select using the mouse by making a box around the objects within the two panels.

When the objects are selected, the handlebars will appear which are squares at the corner intersections and midpoints.

2.

Then right-click and click on Delete Object  to clear the two panels from image and text frames.

In the left-hand side of MS Publisher, click on the text frame .

At the right-hand side of the program a new set of tools appear when you click on the text frame.  These tools aid you in the modification of the contents and look of the text frame.
