The Rules - Text Frames Continued

Connecting and Moving Frames

Before we begin creating the rest of the text frames and inputting text, there are a few more things that we need to learn.

Connect Frames

1.

Create another text frame (empty) to the right of the first one you created and use it for run-off rules because you will not be able fit them into one single text frame.

2.

Click on the chain connect frame box on the bottom right of the text frame to connect the next text frame.  When clicked a cup appears with an arrow in it.  Move the cup into the empty frame and click with the left mouse button.  The frames are now connected.

Left click into the empty frame to connect the two text frames.

3.

Notice that a new button appears at the top of the empty frame.  This button allows you to move to the previous text frame.  When clicked, it moves you back to the frame that is connected to it.  Notice that the original frame now has a button to go back to the next frame.

4.

Now finish typing the rules for your game into both text frames.
